Pacific Swimming, the third largest of USA Swimming's 59 regional associations, is made up of 120 swim clubs and more than 16,000 swimmers. While our membership is centered in California's San Francisco Bay Area, our territory also includes the coastal counties of Northern California from Monterey to the Oregon border, the Stockton-Modesto area of California's Central Valley, and the Reno-Carson City-Lake Tahoe area on the California-Nevada border.

March 29, 2024 - 2024 Western Zones All-Star Meet Coach & Manager Applications Now Available
Coach and manager applications are now available for the 2024 Western Zone Championships, August 7-10, 2024, in Boise, ID, (team leaves on the 6th and returns on the 11th). Interested coaches must submit their application by April 28, 2024. -
March 29, 2024 - 2024 Western Zones All-Star Meet Athlete Applications Now Available
This year, the 2024 Western Zones Meet will take place August 7-10, 2024, in Boise, Idaho (team leaves on the 6th and returns on the 11th). Pacific Swimming will select up to a total of 72 athletes for the team, up to twelve (12) athletes in each of the age groups (10/U girls, 10/U boys, 11-12 girls, 11-12 boys, 13-14 girls, and 13-14 boys.) February 24, 2024 - Stroke and Turn Officials Needed and National Certification Evaluations to Take Place at Upcoming Far Western Championship Meet in Pleasanton, CA
Stroke and Turn Officials' RSVP Needed for the Short Course Far Western Championships, April 4-7, 2024, hosted by the Pleasanton Seahawks (PLS). This meet is an LSC Trials and Finals Meet. Additionall, any officials wishing to be evaluated at this meet, must apply with Mike Davis via email prior to the meet or when they first arrive at the competition and attend pre-session meetings. February 7, 2024 - Amerie Nordberg Memorial Scholarship for Graduating Seniors - 2024
The application for the annual scholarship in the name of Amerie Nordberg has now opened. Amerie was a talented athlete from Santa Rosa that grew up swimming in Pacific Swimming. She later swam for the University of California at Irvine and was team captain, holding several Top 10 records there: the 100 and 200 breaststroke and relay records in the 200 freestyle and 200 and 400 medley relay. This scholarship was created to honor Amerie and is funded by a generous gift from the Nordberg family to commemorate the life of their daughter. Click for more details and the link to apply. -

It is with deep sadness that Pacific Swimming announces the passing of Marvin Lanphere, one of Pacific Swimming's lifetime members, overseer of the Scholastic All America program for USA Swimming, and devoted volunteer with Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics.
