Seventeen new Pacific records
--
Seventeen new Pacific individual and relay records were set the last weekend in February and the first week in March.

Perhaps the most noteworthy swim was a 3:19.91 in the 400 yard free relay by Maddy Schaefer, Jasmine Tosky, Julia Ama, and Jesse Bergman, which was a new Pacific 15-18 girls and senior womens record and also a potential new National Age Group record.
Four additional records were set at Pac-10s, two at the Juanita Allington senior meet at Clovis, and two at the Austin Grand Prix. Noteworthy were new American records in the 200 IM and 400 IM by Julia Smit.
Follow this link for a list of the new late February/early March records.

A reminder for high school swimmers
--
If you are a high school swimmer in season, you must enter your club affiliation as unattached when you enter a Pacific Swimming/USA Swimming meet (except for national and sectional championships). It is your responsibility to be sure that this is done. You can un-attach at a meet if necessary. (Note: this requirement does not apply to Zone 4 swimmers who attend high school in Nevada.)
