February 6, 2017 - March Junior Olympics Site Assignments
2017 SC Junior Olympics Club Assignments
To help facilitate club assignments, Pacific Swimming sent out an electronic survey via Survey Monkey on April 28, 2016. This survey went to all clubs in Pacific Swimming. There was also a survey available at the HOD meetings in May and October of 2016. Based upon the information gathered, Pacific Swimming developed club assignments for the 2017 SC Junior Olympics meet held at Carson City Tigersharks and Concord Terrapins.Clubs that responded with a venue preference either via the Survey or a response to the HOD questionnaires were assigned entry priority at the venue of their choice. The entry priority of these assigned clubs is for a period of two weeks. Those entering online must do so by 11:59 P.M. February 10, 2017, in order to receive priority acceptance to the meet. Athletes from the priority clubs submitting surface mail entries must be postmarked by midnight, February 8, 2017, in order to receive priority acceptance into the meet.
Clubs not assigned to the Concord or Carson City site may enter the meet on a first come first serve basis at either site after the entry priority date. Entries shall close when the maximum capacity of the venue is met. Once the capacity is met the meet shall close and no further entries shall be accepted.
Entries for either venue may be closed before the entry close date due to timeline considerations. The meet entry process is described in the Meet Announcement which can be found here:
The meet will be swum as single age events. These ages are 10 & Under, 11, 12, 13 and 14.
