The following camps have has been announced by Pacific Swimming for 2012. More complete information regarding these camps will be posted when it is available. See also the meet information sheets for the designated selection meets, when issued, for information about the camps.
2012 Olympic Training Center Distance Camp
This camp will be held in Colorado Springs at the Olympic Training Center in January or February of 2012. Twenty-four swimmers will be selected for this camp at the Pacific Swimming Senior Trials and Finals meet in Concord on November 11-13. The age of the participants is 13-18 years as of the first day of the camp. To apply, the athlete must compete at the Pacific Swimming Senior Trials and Finals meet in November.
2012 11-12 AA+ Motivational Camp
This camp will be held in February or March 2012. Forty-eight swimmers will be selected from the Short Course Junior Olympic Championship Meet held in December 2011. The age of the participants is 11-12 as of the final day of competition at the selection meet. To apply the athlete must compete at the December Junior Olympic Championship Meet.
2012 Adam Szmidt Memorial Camp for 10 & Unders
Forty-eight swimmers will be selected at Short Course Far Westerns on March 29 through April 1 in Morgan Hill. The age of the participants is 10/under as of the final day of competition at the meet. The camp will be held on April 29. To apply, the athlete must compete at Short Course Far Westerns.
2012 Junior Leadership Camp for 13/18-year-olds
Sixty swimmers will be selected at Junior Olympics on July 19-22. The age of the participants is 13-18 years as of the final day of competition at Junior Olympics. The Camp will take place in September 2012 with the location to be announced. To apply, the athlete must compete at one of the summer Junior Olympics meets.
North Coast Zone 3 Camp
Forty-eight swimmers will be selected off a swim meet held in the North Coast area of Zone 3. The age of the participants is 9-16 as of the first day of the camp. To apply the athlete must compete in the selection meet and be a member of a Pacific Swimming Club located in the North Coast area of Zone 3.
Zone 4 Stars and Future Stars Camp
The Zone 4 Stars and Future Stars Camp is open to swimmers from Zone 4 clubs. The date and location will be announced at a later time.
