July 27, 2020 - Congratulations PASA, WANV and RENO on Becoming Safe Sport Recognized Clubs

Pacific Swimming would like to recognize Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics, Waves Aquatics Napa Valley and Reno Aquatic Club, on achieving Safe Sport Recognized Club status! They join ALTO, PLS, LGSC, LAC, MBSC, QSS, BAY, TERA, CARS, SSS, TIGR, AAA, TIDE, NVST, PEAK, SBA, SUNN, WA, CRUZ, DDST, HSC, OAPB, OAQ, SCSC, and UD, as clubs that have completed the process. We also currently have 25 other teams that have started the process on becoming Safe Sport Recognized.

Reminder: All grants with Pacific Swimming require the club to be Safe Sport Certified. Preference for USA Swimming grants is given to SSR recognized clubs, with secondary preference given to those that have started the process.

The Safe Sport Recognized Club Program (“SSRP”) allows a USA Swimming member club to publicly demonstrate its unwavering commitment to creating an abuse-free, safe, healthy and positive environment for all its members through the implementation of the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy, Anti-Bullying measures, Safe Sport Best Practices and Athlete Protection Training.
