Athlete Registration

To become an athlete member of Pacific Swimming, you need to complete a Pacific/USA Swimming registration form and submit it to the listed address on the form.  If you are joing a PC member club, they should have the form available and can assist you with the registration process.

Pacific offers both year-round and seasonal athlete memberships.  If you register as a year-round member, your registration is valid through December 31, 2015. Fall season registration for 2014 is valid from September 5, 2014 through February 1, 2015.

Non-Athlete Reigstration

For coaches of PC clubs, meet officials, and meet directors of Pacific's sanctioned competitions. To become a non-athlete member, send a completed non-athlete membership application to Laurie Benton, 1374 Lupine Court, Concord CA 94521 . Any questions, call (925) 822-7913. This single application form allows you to join both USA Swimming and Pacific Swimming. Your membership must be renewed each calendar year.

All Pacific/USA Swimming non-athlete members are required to complete both a background check and an athlete protection training course to maintain a valid registration.

Coach members must provide proof of CPR, first aid, and safety training certifications as well as pass the USA Swimming coach education requirements prior to their second year of coaching.

Club Registration

To become a club member of Pacific Swimming, or to renew your current club membership, send a completed copy of the club membership application to Laurie Benton, 1374 Lupine Court, Concord CA 94521. Any questions, call (925) 822-7913.

Note that if you are  starting a new club, there additional forms you will need to complete and a number of other issues to consider. All forms can be found on the "Starting a New Club" page on the USA Swimming website. All clubs must renew their membership annually, and as part of this renewal process, your coaches must submit proof of current CPR, first aid, and safety training certifications.

Organization Registration

An organization which supports the sport of swimming, our objectives, and programs, but which does not have athletes and coaches who are all individual members of Pacific Swimming and USA Swimming, may join Pacific Swimming as an Affiliated Group Member. To join, complete and submit this Organization application form. Any questions, call (925) 822-7913.
