Eligibility: Athletes must be 14 years or younger on March 3, 2024 and not have previously participated in the Pacific Coast All-Star Meet, Western Zone Age-Group Championships, or other higher-level team selection meet. (Note: "Western Zone Age-Group Champs" is different from "Far Westerns"; athletes who have competed in FW but not WZAG Champs are still eligible to apply)

Selection Criteria: The Zone 2 All-Star Team will be comprised of up to eight girls and eight boys from each of four age groups (8 & under, 9–10, 11–12, and 13–14) for a total of up to 64 athletes. The selection for seven athletes in each gender of each age group will be determined by the total number of points scored in the ZAM selection events at the 2024 Zone 2 Winter Championship Meet. The eighth athlete in each gender of each age group will be a coach’s choice. The next two highest-scoring applicants will be Alternates.

To be considered for the Zone 2 All-Star Team, each applicant or their legal guardian must perform the following 2 steps:

1. Enter and compete in at least one of the ZAM selection events listed in the table below. Note: The athlete’s age group for ZAM Team Selection is based on the Athlete’s age on March 3, 2024. Competing in more selection events increases the chance of selection.

2. Complete and submit the Initial Application online no later than Friday, February 2, 2024 at 6:00 PM -or- provide the athlete’s information to the Zone 2 All-Star Team desk at the meet before Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 9:00 AM.

Only times achieved at the 2024 Zone 2 Winter Championship Meet will be considered for points allocation and team selection. Points will be scored based on the applicant’s age group on March 3, 2024.
