Zone Challenge Meet 2023 - Athlete Application
This application must be submitted electronically to the following email address. Paper copies will not be available at Zone 1 North Champs and no paper copies will be accepted. Please send your completed entry to: z1n.select@gmail.com. Entries must be submitted by the end of Z1N Champs on Sunday 1/29 or by 3 PM on Sunday 1/29, whichever deadline is later. Late submissions will not be considered.

Western Zone Age Group Championships

In early August, Pacific Swimming takes up to 72 swimmers to the Western Zone All-Star Meet to compete against teams from Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Competition for this 4 day trials and finals meet is typically Wednesday-Saturday, and has been held at various locations (Oregon, Utah, Idaho, Hawaii and California). Pacific Swimming team is composed of a total of 72 athletes, up to twelve (12) athletes in each of the age groups (10/U girls, 10/U boys, 11-12 girls, 11-12 boys, 13-14 girls, and 13-14 boys.) Athletes ages 14 & under who have met the meet AAA time standards, are eligible to apply.

This year, the 2026 Western Zones Meet will take place August 5-8, 2026, in Mt. Hood, Oregon, (team leaves on the 4th and returns on the 9th). Pacific Swimming will select up to a total of 72 athletes for the team, up to twelve (12) athletes in each of the age groups (10/U girls, 10/U boys, 11-12 girls, 11-12 boys, 13-14 girls, and 13-14 boys.)
