Olympic Paralympic Training Center Distance Camp
This year, after applying for our OPTC camp slot, we were waitlisted for both of our dates requested. After waiting several months to see if the schedule at the OPTC would open up, we were told last week it was very unlikely that the calendar would open up enough to accomodate us.
With that news, we have made the difficult, but necessary decision to cancel our OPTC Distance Camp in February of 2026. We had requested multiple dates, but there were multiple applicants for the same periods. We were unable to secure a weekend from the three weekends we requested. Like many of our athletes, we are very disappointed that we are unable to offer this opportunity this year. We have already submitted a request for 2027 and we hope to offer this camp to our athletes next year!
