Disability Swimming
USA Swimming Disability Committee Mission Statement
USA Swimming encourages people with disabilities to participate in the sport of swimming and facilitates their inclusion in USA Swimming programs through education and collaboration. We seek to involve people with disabilities in existing competitions and programs for all swimmers, rather than provide unique disability-only opportunities. Swimmers who prefer disability-only programs should consult the links menu in the “Get Involved” (on the USA Swimming Disability page)"
Pacific Swimming suppports inclusion of all disabled swimmers. Use these links to find out more about Disabled Swimming.

Para Motivational Time Standards
How can Pacific Swimming assist our swimmers with disabilities, and enable them compete in swim meets? While swimmers with disabilities can enter any swim meet that does not have a time standard, we would like to invite swimmers with disabilities to JO’s and even Far Westerns, by using a new/proposed Time Standard. The DDEI Committee is seeking input on the proposed time standard.
We are seeking input from Coaches and Parents, to see if there are any issues adopting such a time standard. Please email Kent Yoshiwara, kyoshiwara@pacswim.org, by June 30, 2023 with your thoughts.
