September 5, 2023 - Bids Now Being Accepted to Host the 2025 Western Zone Open Water Championships
The Western Zone is now accepting bids to host the 2025 Western Zone Open Water Championships. The recommended hosting weekends are flexible, but we prefer early to mid-June or any time in September. There is some financial assistance awarded to the host via USA Swimming so long as the terms of the host agreement are met.
Please do your best filling out the application, as it is understood that when it comes to Open Water everything is subject to change. See below for a blank application to preview the information that is required to bid.
The deadline to submit host applications is Friday, September 22, 2023. The host team will be awarded at the Western Zone's annual House of Delegates meeting September 24, per the Zone's policies and procedures.
