Pool Certification

Routine pool measurement and ceritification is not required by USA Swimming, but it is considered best practice to have current certified competitive pool measurements on file with USA-S.  World, American, and US Open records require that the pool be certified.  If a potential record is swum in an uncertified pool and the pool was subsequently measured and found to not meet length standards, the potential record would not be accepted.
