April 3, 2026 - 2026 Coach Representative Nominations Needed
Pacific Swimming is seeking nominations for Coach Representatives to serve on key committees and represent coach membership within the organization’s leadership structure. Coach Representatives act as a voice for coaches, contributing to governance, policy decisions, and the overall direction of Pacific Swimming.
Position(s) Open for Nomination:
Age Group Coach Representative
Serves on the Age Group Committee and represents the interests, perspectives, and needs of age group coaches. This role helps guide policy, programming, and development for our age-group athletes.
Senior Coach Representative
Serves on the Senior Committee and represents the interests of senior-level coaches and athletes. This role contributes to discussions to guide policy, programming, development, and competition structure for senior-level athletes.
In addition to the description above, both Age Group and Senior Coach Representatives:
- Lead the nomination process by gathering data and coordinating submissions for the Age Group and Senior Coach of the Year awards presented at the Pacific Swimming Awards Night.
- Age Group and Senior Coach Representatives also serve as voting members of the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and participate in the House of Delegates.
Per Pacific Swimming Bylaws:
- Two Coach Representatives are elected, one each year, for a two-year term.
- Representatives serve until a successor is elected.
- Elections are conducted in accordance with Pacific Swimming Policies and Procedures.
- Voting is conducted by Coach Members in good standing.
