October 21, 2026 - 2026 PacSwim Awards Recap
The PacSwim Awards took place on Saturday, October 17th in Pleasant Hill. Swimmers, their families and coaches from throughout the LSC joined to enjoy dinner and special guest, Olympian and World Champion, Luca Urlando. Each nominee in attendance received personalized Pacific Swim Awards caps and were able to get them autographed by Luca. Athletes were recognized for being on the USA Swimming Scholastic All America list, as well as on the National Age Group Top Ten List for individual swims and the Top Three List for relay swims. Also honored were the athletes that broke a Pacific Swimming Record during the 2025-26 season. Awards were then handed out to Pacific Swimming's Outstanding Swimmers in both short course and long course. Other awards handed out that night were for Age Group and Senior Coach of the Year, Athlete Reps of the Year, Disability, Diversity and Inclusion Award. The evening ended with the presentation of the Swimmers of the Year awards that went to Katrin Otaegi (SRVA) and Luka Mijatovic (PLS).
