July 11, 2025 - Congratulations to our 2025 Amerie Nordberg Memorial Scholarship Winners!
Pacific Swimming would like to congratulate Isabella Pflieger and Ellie Burkhardt on each winning a 2025 Amerie Nordberg Memorial Scholarship of $1000! To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicants had to be a high school senior that plans to swim in college, have a GPA of 3.5 or higher, and be a member in good standing with Pacific Swimming.
Amerie Nordberg was a talented athlete from Santa Rosa that grew up swimming in Pacific Swimming. She later swam for the University of California at Irvine and was team captain, holding several Top 10 records there: the 100 and 200 breaststroke and relay records in the 200 freestyle and 200 and 400 medley relay. The Nordberg family generously donated to Pacific Swimming to create this scholarship to honor their daughter and commemorate her life.
