December 4, 2025 - December 12-14 Winter Age Group Championship Meet Scratch Procedures
Athletes, Coaches, and Parents/Guardians who wish to scratch event(s) from the December 12-14, 2025, Winter Age Group Championships must complete the digital scratch form using the following link:

A QR code will also be posted at the facility. The link can also be used for distance and timed finals positive check-in, scratches from finals, and no show positive check-in. A confirmation email will be sent once the scratch has been received. Please save this email as proof of scratching and bring it to the administrative office if seeded into the event.
PRELIMINARY EVENT SCRATCHES
Athletes, Coaches, and Parents/Guardians who wish to scratch preliminary event(s) must complete this digital scratch form. A confirmation email will be sent once the scratch has been received. Please save this email as proof of scratching and bring it to the administrative office if seeded into the event.
Please remember there is a maximum of 3 events per day and 7 events total. Mandatory scratches will be made if swimmer does not scratch down voluntarily.
The scratch deadline will be the following:
- Friday timed final session will be Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 5:00 PM
- Saturday preliminary session will be Friday, December 12, 2025, 30 minutes after the start of Friday Finals session.
- Sunday preliminary sessions will be Saturday, December 13, 2025, 30 minutes after the start of Saturday Finals session.
The penalty for failure to compete in an individual preliminary heat in which such athlete is entered ("No Show") and has not been scratched is to be barred from their next preliminary event not including distance.
1650 DISTANCE POSITIVE CHECK-IN
Athletes, Coaches, and Parents/Guardians - Positive check in required for the 1650 Freestyle timed finals. Athletes must check-in for Sunday's 1650 Freestyle events by Saturday, December 13th, no later than 30 minutes after the start of finals.
1650 Freestyle event is timed finals and shall swim on Sunday afternoon, with the last heat scheduled to finish 5 minutes prior to the start of finals warm-up. A start time, timeline, and heat sheet will be announced after check-in has closed and ample warm-up will be provided for 1650 athletes. Athletes in these events shall provide their own timers and lap counters.
FINAL EVENT SCRATCHES
Any Athlete qualifying for a Championship Final (One for each age group 10&U, 11, 12, 13, and 14) in an individual event who does not wish to compete shall Scratch within 30 minutes after the announcement of qualifiers.
During this period, qualifiers may also notify the admin official that they may not intend to compete in a Championship Final. If so, please choose "Intend to Scratch". In this case they shall declare their final intention within 30 minutes after the announcement of qualifiers last individual Preliminary Event.
In a Preliminaries & Finals meet any Athlete qualifying for a Championship Final race in an individual event who fails to show up in said Championship Final race prior to calling the alternate shall be barred from remainder of final events for that day. If no other final events, barred from their next preliminary event. If the No-Show occurs on the last day that the Athlete is entered in an individual final event in the meet, and no other individual event penalty is applicable, the Athlete shall then be fined $100.00. The fine shall be increased to $150.00 if after 30 days of receiving the letter of notification the party has not made the payment.
